Location: BB1 (Blackburn)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm (includes 30-minute lunch break)
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class in a welcoming primary school in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils at a key stage in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning
Assist with classroom management and daily routines
Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Support pupils' academic and social developmentRequirements:
Previous experience working in a primary school setting (preferred)
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for supporting children's learning and development
Understanding of KS1 curriculum (desirable)This is a rewarding role for someone looking to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
