You’ll be trained by the person currently in the role as well as your manager, so there’s solid support while you get up to speed. You’ll pick up product knowledge, systems, and processes as you go, rather than being expected to know everything from day one.
The role focuses on customer service, order processing, and administration, working with other businesses and supporting the wider sales function. Reporting is also a key part of the role, so attention to detail is important.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Processing and monitoring of customer orders
* Invoicing and crediting customers
* Answering calls, assisting customers and Area Sales Managers with queries and instructions
* Stock transfers between customers and product sourcing
* Running weekly and monthly customer, office and Sales rep based reports including using Excel
* Monitoring and maintaining automatic system functions
* Liaising with our courier where necessary
* Some light admin tasks: sending post, laminating, etc
Salary and benefits:
* £25,000 salary
* £100 annual allowance to spend on company products
* 37.5 hours per week
* Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
* Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
* 23 days holiday + bank holidays
* Free on-site parking
Key requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to use MS Excel and Word
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent organisation skills
