We are recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver for our client, WINCANTON SAINSBURYS; the role involves Convenience store delivery work. Enjoy competitive pay rates and plenty of overtime. Fixed rotas available for a minimum of 4 shifts per week.
Shift Start Times Available:
* 20:00 – 00:00 - Nights
* 04:00 – 08:00 - Days

JOB DESCRIPTION:
DUTIES:
* Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
* Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
* HGV Class 2 drivers must Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
* Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
* Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
* Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
* Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
* Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

Requirements:
* HGV CLASS 2 license (minimum 6 months C+E experience)
* Full HGV CLASS 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
* Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
* Strong understanding of Driver’s Hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
* Excellent geographical knowledge
* Customer-focused attitude
