How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Early Years (EYFS) Teaching Assistant - Reception Class

    Location: Lytham, Lancashire (One-Form Entry Mainstream Primary)

    Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (3 Days Per Week)

    Hours: 08:45 - 15:15

    Contract: Temporary Summer Term, term time (13th April - 24th July)

    Pay: £14.24 per hour

    Are you a passionate Early Years Practitioner or Teaching Assistant looking for a stable part-time role this summer?

    We are seeking a nurturing and creative individual to join a Reception class in a charming, one-form entry primary school based in Lytham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a setting that truly believes every child is unique and full of potential.

    The Role

    Working within the EYFS department, you will support the youngest learners as they grow in confidence and develop a love for learning. You will help deliver exciting, play-based lessons that align with the school's mission to help every child "shine" both in the classroom and beyond.

    Key Requirements

    To be successful in this application, you must hold one of the following:

    Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.

    OR a recognised Early Years (EYFS) Qualification.

    Prior experience working within a Reception or Nursery setting is highly desirable.

    A kind, curious, and confident approach to supporting child development.
