Customer Service Administrator

We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator to support our busy cold store operation, assisting in the day to day running of the cold store / warehouse stock office, supporting the office. You will be part of the key team workers that keep the vital food supply chain flowing. The role is truly collaborative, being varied and diverse. You will be working with the administration team to ensure clear lines of communication and disseminate information ensuring workload and planning, whilst increasing the productive and profitable activities of the business. This role is Monday – Friday 8am until 5pm with an hour lunch,

Responsibilities:

* Work alongside the customer service staff, support and communicate with other internal departments, to guarantee the best possible service is provided to all our customers.

* Answering emails and using a customer service ticketing system for all ordering and customer query purposes.

* Keep up to date with all programmes on the system to super user standard.

* Supporting the cold store managers/office manager with administrative requirements and communicating any problems/queries or additional stock due in/out or additional work required.

* Communicating professionally and effectively with customers, including on-site and off-site visits

* Ensure that the Company policies regarding Quality, Environment, Health & Safety etc are maintained at all times, including all standards and procedures required by accrediting bodies i.e., BRCGS, MSC, ASC, Organic & HMRC Bonded Warehouse procedures

Requirements:

* Previous experience within a Customer Services/Operations admin function

* Analytical and Logical approach

* A positive, flexible, can-do attitude to work, within a small team.

* A minimum of basic computer literacy, preferably with Windows operating systems experience

* 5 GCSEs at Grade C or 4 and above, including Maths and English.

* Excellent numeracy skills

* A keen attention to detail and work accuracy.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Awareness of Warehouse management systems
