Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real impact in a supportive Birmingham primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a confident and proactive HLTA to join one of our fantastic partner schools, helping to deliver high-quality learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
✨ The Role
As the HLTA, you will:
Lead whole-class teaching during teacher PPA, absence, or intervention blocks
Run small-group and 1:1 targeted interventions to boost progress in key learning areas
Support behaviour, engagement and positive learning routines
Work closely with class teachers, SENDCo and leadership to deliver excellent provision
Contribute to planning and assessment where appropriate
Bring energy, flexibility, and a passion for helping children thrive
💼 Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
HLTA status (essential)
Experience delivering lessons or interventions in a primary setting
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A positive, team-focused attitude
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
