Your new role
As the Temporary Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for a range of day‑to‑day transactional finance tasks. Your duties will include:

Completing daily bank reconciliations
Using Excel confidently to manage data
Setting up BACs payments accurately and on time
Posting simple journals into the accounting system
Managing the purchase ledger, ensuring invoices are processed promptly
Assisting with the production of weekly debtor and cash reports
Monitor the finance inbox What you'll need to succeed

Experience in a similar transactional finance or Accounts Assistant role
Strong Excel skills
Confidence handling reconciliations, journals and purchase ledger activities
A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
