    Job description

    About this Position:

    This role is suited to an engineer with an automotive or powertrain background who will support the preparation, coordination and evaluation of engine testing activities. Working closely with multiple departments and technical specialists, the position plays a key part in ensuring test readiness, assessing results against defined criteria, and contributing to solutions for technical and build-related issues.

    Job Responsibilities:

    *

    Coordinate with internal departments to prepare engines for testing

    *

    Organise parts requiring modification to meet test requirements

    *

    Liaise with relevant teams to plan and support testing activity

    *

    Analyse test results and assess them against procedural pass criteria

    *

    Work with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to propose solutions for failed tests

    *

    Produce engineering reports to justify test outcomes and approvals

    *

    Present results and reports at review meetings with subject matter experts and senior engineering stakeholders

    *

    Support resolution of build issues raised by other departments, including part concerns and build instruction queries

    Experience Required:

    *

    Engineering background, ideally within automotive and powertrain environments

    *

    Experience coordinating technical activity across multiple departments

    *

    Ability to interpret and analyse test data against defined procedures

    *

    Experience writing clear engineering reports and presenting technical findings

    *

    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively on test and build-related issues

    *

    Confident communicator able to engage effectively with technical specialists and senior engineers

    £40.00 - £45.00 per hour
