How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    CAD Engineer
    Full time, Permanent

    The Role:
    The CAD Engineer will play a key role in producing precise technical drawings and plans using advanced CAD software. The role will see you working in a small tight knit team working closely with the wider engineering function. You will transform concepts into accurate, high‑quality designs that meet all required specifications and industry standards. Your work will directly support the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring every detail is executed with accuracy and professionalism.
    This is a great opportunity to be visible to the business in a key engineering role while having the opportunity to learn and put experience to use daily.
    What you’ll be doing:

    Update, maintain and develop detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
    Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
    Ensure that all designs meet the required standards and specifications.
    Review and modify designs based on feedback and project requirements.
    Maintain accurate records of designs and revisions.
    Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on CAD software and design principles.
    Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
    Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in CAD software and design. What we’re looking for:

    Experience in CAD design or a similar role.
    Autodesk experience advantageous.
    Good understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and review and analyse problems.
    Experienced in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
    Technical certification or diploma in engineering or a related field is preferred.
