How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role: Air Conditioning Technical Coordinator
    Location: Wilmington, Kent
    Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Sector: HVAC / Air Conditioning / Building Services
    Salary: £35,000, £45,000 (DOE) + Overtime Available

    Overview

    We are working with a well-established and growing HVAC contractor seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technical Coordinator to join their office-based team in Wilmington. This role would suit a former AC Engineer with strong installation and diagnostic experience, or an individual who has worked within a manufacturer’s technical support department. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting engineers, coordinating technical information, preparing quotations, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the delivery team.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Preparing and issuing quotations for new air conditioning projects

    * Managing customer communications via email and phone

    * Proactively following up quotations to secure orders

    * Ordering AC units and spare parts

    * Reviewing incoming engineer job reports and advising on follow-up works

    * Producing quotations based on engineer recommendations

    * Providing technical support and guidance to office staff

    * Completing RAMS (training provided if required)

    * Supporting overall coordination of air conditioning projects

    Requirements

    * Minimum 5 years’ experience within the air conditioning industry

    * Strong knowledge of AC and ventilation systems

    * Previous hands-on engineering or technical support experience (desirable)

    * Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

    * Confident, professional, and personable approach

    * Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

    * Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

    * Must live within 20 miles of DA2 7ER (office not accessible via train)

    Qualifications

    Relevant HVAC / Air Conditioning experience (formal qualifications beneficial but not essential)

    Experience completing or understanding RAMS (training can be provided)

    What’s on Offer

    £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary (depending on experience)

    Overtime available during peak periods

    Full-time permanent position

    Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30

    Laptop and mobile phone provided
