* Contract Vehicle Technician role working within a R&D workshop of a global automotive OEM.
* 12-month contract.
* £20.00 per hour (including holiday pay), PAYE contract + paid overtime (£35,000 + per annum).

As a Vehicle Technician you will be working within an automotive / vehicle testing environment. You will be working within a small friendly team of engineers and technicians, so we are looking for a candidate that will enjoy a hands-on automotive workshop technician role in a professional, state-of-the-art automotive engineering facility.
This Vehicle Technician job will involve:
* Supporting Engineers on vehicle research and development test projects.
* Rework on vehicles.
* Fabrication.
* Preparing and setting up vehicles for R&D testing.
* Post-test de-rigging of vehicles.
* Using computer systems to input test data and other technical information.
This Vehicle Technician job will suit:
* A candidate with previous experience of working within a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Fitter or Automotive Technician, or Workshop Technician type of role.
* Be able to competently use computer systems.
* You are likely to hold a relevant qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ or similar) in motor vehicle engineering or a similar engineering or automotive discipline. Experience in lieu of a qualification is also fine.
* A full UK driving licence is required.
