Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer: Our client, an international engineering business, seek to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Bradford office. There will be occasional travel but in the main this is an office based position to design and develop products from initial concept through to finished design. As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design of a variety of components and assemblies for mission critical projects.

Mechanical Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities – CAD / Mechanical / R&D

 - Create detail designs and other drawings as required
 - BOM and assembly instructions, and training and publicity material
 - Assist Sales with quoting on special requirements
-  Play a key role in prototype build and testing

Mechanical Design Engineer - Candidate Profile - CAD / Mechanical / R&D

 - Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
 - Experienced with 2D and 3D CAD - AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge or equivalent
 - Aware of modern manufacturing techniques and materials
