How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Production Compound Technician Apprentice to join our manufacturing team and learn the specialist skills needed to create the unique material blend that forms our “Anglian White” windows.

    What You’ll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Compounder, you will learn how to prepare and measure precise quantities of powder compounds used in our extrusion machines. These materials are essential for producing high-quality windows, so your role will be key to maintaining our excellent standards.

    You will be trained to:

Accurately measure and weigh powder ingredients
    Follow detailed production formulas
Ensure consistency and quality in every batch
Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
Work closely with the extrusion and production teams
Use basic maths skills to calculate quantities and adjustments
    What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you:

    Have strong attention to detail
Are confident using numbers and basic maths
    Enjoy practical, hands-on work
Are eager to learn, reliable, and safety-conscious
Work well as part of a team
Take pride in doing a job accurately and carefully
No previous manufacturing experience is needed — we’ll provide full training.

    What You’ll Gain

    A recognised qualification in manufacturing
    On‑the‑job training from experienced professionals
A clear career pathway within the business
A supportive environment focused on growth and development
The chance to be part of a friendly, dedicated team
    Who This Could Suit

This apprenticeship is ideal for school leavers, college students, or anyone seeking an entry-level role with long‑term progression in a stable and growing industry.

    What we offer:

Competitive salary of £14,560 per annum (£8 x35 hours a week) for the first 12 months of your apprenticeship, increasing to NMW or NLW from 12 months
31 days holiday including Bank Holidays and your birthday off
Comprehensive health & well-being benefits including access to in-house occupational health & well-being resources, discounted gym memberships, employee assistance programme, & mental health resources
Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking and supportive team
Career development and continuous learning opportunities including apprenticeships & formal qualifications

Paid time off annually to volunteer
    Ready to apply?
