Tradefield is currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer on behalf of a well-established client specialising in process industries, particularly within food manufacturing environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer looking to take ownership of projects and progress toward senior leadership, with a clear pathway to Project Director level.
Role & Responsibilities

Lead electrical projects from initial enquiry through to completion
*
Prepare and submit quotations for a range of electrical works
*
Manage full turnkey electrical project delivery
*
Coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors
*
Liaise with clients, site teams, and internal departments
*
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
*
Oversee installation, commissioning, and handover processes
*
Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance
Key Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or similar role
*
Strong background in estimating and project delivery
*
Experience within process industries such as food manufacturing (highly desirable)
*
Additional experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or automotive industries would be advantageous
*
Solid understanding of PLC controls (essential)
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*
Strong communication and client-facing skills
