Pin Point Recruitment are working with a well-established waste and recycling operation in Cowhorn, and we are currently looking to recruit experienced HGV Class 2 Driver Loaders to support ongoing contracts.
This is a varied, hands-on role operating either a 12T kerbside recycling vehicle or a 26T refuse / garden waste collection vehicle (RCV) across local routes.
This is a driver loader position, so you will be expected to assist with loading where required.
What the Role Involves
* Driving Class 2 vehicles on scheduled residential and commercial collection routes
* Operating both recycling vehicles and refuse collection vehicles
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
* Working as part of a crew to complete rounds efficiently
* Assisting with loading duties when required
* Navigating tight residential areas and busy routes
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
This role plays a key part in keeping local communities clean, so reliability and teamwork are essential.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 1 year Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous waste, recycling or multi-drop experience is beneficial
* Strong awareness of health and safety
* Reliable, punctual and team-focused
