Production Line Leader – Temp to Perm
📍 Location: Kingswinford
📄 Contract: Temporary to Permanent (after 12 weeks)
⏰ Shifts: Any 5 shifts out of 7
💷 Overtime: Paid at 1.33x after 37.5 hours
Please note: Due to location and shift times, own transport is essential.
The Role
We’re recruiting a Production Line Leader to take ownership of a busy production line, leading a team to hit daily targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, motivating people, solving problems, and keeping production running smoothly.
For the right candidate, this role offers a clear route to a permanent position.
What You’ll Be Doing
🔧 Leading and motivating a production team to achieve hourly and daily targets
📊 Managing labour effectively to meet volume and cost requirements
✅ Ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards
🛡️ Promoting strong health & safety, GMP, and hygiene standards
📋 Completing production paperwork and using the integrated management system (Vision)
👥 Supporting training, onboarding, and development of new starters
🔄 Driving continuous improvement and reducing waste
🗣️ Liaising with agency staff and providing day-to-day feedback
📈 Monitoring KPIs including output, quality, H&S, waste, and training
🤝 Taking part in team leader meetings, reviews, and performance processes
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
✔️ Confident leading people in a fast-paced environment
✔️ Strong understanding of quality, hygiene, and H&S standards
✔️ Comfortable using production systems and paperwork
✔️ A proactive, hands-on approach with good communication skills
(This role would suit a current Line Leader, Senior Operative, or Step-Up Supervisor.)
