    Production Operative

    Monday to Friday; 8am – 4:15pm

    Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery and equipment to support the production process, ensuring quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, be detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic industrial setting.

    Duties:

    Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
    Conduct routine inspections and perform basic troubleshooting of machinery.
    Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, and maintenance tasks.
    Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as required.
    Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to meet health and safety standards.
    Support quality control by inspecting finished products for defects or irregularities.
    Follow safety protocols diligently to minimise risks during operations.
    Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

    Experience:

    Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
    Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
    Experience in assembly processes or working within a production environment is desirable.
    Ability to read technical drawings or instructions is a plus.
    Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
    Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods.
