Vehicle Technician

Our client is seeking skilled Vehicle Technicians to support recall campaign work on Stellantis vehicles (Peugeot, Citroën, Vauxhall, DS, Fiat and associated brands). This Vehicle Technician role involves completing recall actions, software updates, inspections, and light mechanical work in a workshop environment. Full on‑site training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out recall work on Stellantis vehicles to manufacturer specifications
* Perform software downloads, updates, and reprogramming via approved diagnostic systems
* Complete minor checks and inspections following recall guidelines
* Undertake light mechanical tasks: component replacements, adjustments, and basic repairs
* Follow recall bulletins, instructions, and quality standards accurately
* Complete all documentation, job cards, and system records correctly
* Conduct post‑work checks to verify proper completion
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment
* Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety and workshop procedures
* Report technical issues, delays, or concerns to supervisors promptly
Skills & Experience
* Basic mechanical or automotive experience
* Able to use computer‑based diagnostic or update systems
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Safety‑conscious with a high standard of work quality
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Desirable
* Previous experience in a Vehicle Technician role
* Experience with Stellantis vehicles
* NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence
