How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sheet Metal Worker Required

    Our client is looking for an experienced and dependable Sheet Metal Worker to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in precision work and wants to be part of a company known for quality and reliability.

    The Role

    You will be based in a workshop environment, working on the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components. This role focuses on precision, consistency, and high-quality finish rather than on-site installation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Measuring, cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal

    Fabricating and assembling components to specification

    Working from technical drawings and plans

    Operating workshop machinery and hand tools safely

    Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

    Ensuring all work meets quality standards

    Requirements

    Proven experience as a sheet metal worker

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

    Strong attention to detail and workmanship

    Experience working in a workshop environment

    Good problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
