A leading manufacturing organisation based in Cornwall is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team during an exciting period of sustained growth and investment.
The site is currently experiencing a significant expansion phase, supported by a strong pipeline of investment across operations, processes, and quality systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in supporting the business through this next stage of development.
The Role:
Act as the technical lead for quality-related issues across the site
Provide hands-on support in resolving product and process quality challenges
Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve process capability and product quality
Support and enhance the site’s quality management systems
Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to quality performance
About You:
Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing
Strong background in problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, RCA, Six Sigma tools)
A hands-on, shop-floor-focused approach to quality engineering
Ability to act as a technical expert and confidently support cross-functional teams
Experience with quality systems, audits, and compliance standards
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
