    Job description

    Learning Support Worker - Swindon | £13.75 per hour

    Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with learning disabilities? Our client, a welcoming and inclusive school in Swindon, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Worker to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in accessing education within a caring environment.

    What you'll be doing:
    * Providing tailored support to students with various learning disabilities
    * Assisting with classroom activities, lesson delivery, and behaviour management
    * Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
    * Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

    What you'll bring:
    * Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
    * A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
    * Strong communication and teamwork skills
    * A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

    Desirable skills and qualifications:
    * Knowledge of Makaton, PECS, or other communication tools
    * Relevant qualifications in education or health & social care

    Details:
    * Location: Swindon
    * Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
    * Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
