How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Supply Chain Director

    A long-established, internationally recognised consumer brand is seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead global operational strategy across a complex, multi-region footprint. This is a pivotal role for an experienced operations leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys shaping end-to-end supply chains, and is ready to influence the strategic direction of a business entering its next phase of growth.

    The Role
    You'll take ownership of global operations spanning manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and continuous improvement. This includes leading operations in Ireland, managing 3PL partners across the USA and Europe, and coordinating with manufacturing partners in Asia. Your work will sit at the intersection of efficiency, innovation and commercial impact.

    Supply Chain Director Key Responsibilities
    * Develop and deliver operational strategies that support scalable global manufacturing and distribution
    * Strengthen supply chain resilience, inventory management, and freight optimisation
    * Manage 3PL performance across Europe and North America
    * Oversee offshore manufacturing quality, compliance and timelines
    * Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and automation principles
    * Ensure compliance with international trade, customs and H&S regulations
    * Lead operational budgeting, KPIs and cost-saving initiatives
    * Champion ERP systems and digital tools for real-time visibility
    * Lead and develop high-performing teams across purchasing, planning, logistics and supply chain
    * Partner with commercial teams on forecasting, volume planning and demand accuracy
    * Strengthen supplier performance and consolidate global vendor bases
    * Support sustainability goals, reducing operational carbon footprint
    * Contribute at management leadership level, shaping long-term operational strategy

    About You
    * 8+ years' senior experience in global operations within manufacturing
    * Strong track record managing 3PL partners and offshore manufacturing
    * Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field
    * ERP experience (SAP/Oracle or equivalent)
    * Knowledge of international trade compliance
    * Confident leader with cross-cultural communication skills and strong financial acumen
    * Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to deliver both strategy and execution
