We’re currently looking for an Assembly Operative to join a busy and welcoming timber manufacturing team based in Rochdale. You’ll be working in a fast-paced production environment, helping to assemble timber components used in the construction industry.
This is a great temp to perm opportunity with consistent hours and an early finish every Friday!
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Pay :
£12.21 per hour – rising to £12.71 on 1st April
Ongoing, stable work
What you’ll be doing :
Assembling timber components used in construction
Measuring, cutting, and positioning materials accurately
Using hand tools and power tools safely
Following simple technical drawings and job sheets
Operating production machinery
Maintaining high quality standards
Keeping your work area clean and tidy
What we’re looking for :
Experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or production (helpful but not essential)
Confidence using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail
Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
