Geotechnical / Structural Engineer - Drainage Design

A well‑established engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its Building Structures team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of building projects across multiple sectors, within a supportive and collaborative professional environment.
The role
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of building structures projects for both public and private sector clients. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team and supported by experienced Chartered Engineers as you continue to develop your technical and professional skills.
Key responsibilities will include:

Producing and checking structural design calculations, drawings, models and specifications
Designing building structures in materials including steel and reinforced concrete
Coordinating structural design information with other technical disciplines
Attending and contributing to project and design meetings with clients and consultants
Supporting consultations with Building Control and other statutory authorities
Working collaboratively within a team to deliver high‑quality engineering solutionsWhat you'll need to succeed

Degree qualified in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Knowledge of structural steelwork and reinforced concrete design
Experience using structural design software
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working
