High voltage assessor

We are curreenlty recruiting for High Voltage Assessor to join HS2 project based in Kingsbury, Staffordshire, B76 0BE.
Job responsabilities will include, but will not be limited to:
* Conduct training sessions and assessments for engineers and technicias working in hazardous environments.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including NFPA requirements and Joint Commissioning standards.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments and training provided to ensuRe safety and compliance.
* Hold relevant certifications, such as ANSI or PMP, and be prepared to provide evidence of competency.

Typically requires experience in high voltage engineering or a related field, along with relevant qualifications.
A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 8-10 years.

* A rate of £29.81 per hour PAYE

Overtime When Available:
Monday – Friday - Time and a third after 10 hours
Nights – Time and a third
Sat & Sunday and night all hours –Time and a half
Candidates must have:
* Full UK Driving license
* JIB Gold card 18th edition
* Skilled tradesperson with suitable experience of Electrical work.
* Ability to work on their own as well as part of a gang.
* Must be able to read and work from drawings.
* Valid First Aid certification (including for electrical accidents) or equivalent
* Must hold a valid IWA or COSS competency - If not must have a letter from company stating you will be accompanied by a COSS out on site.
* Must hold full HV Competent Person certificate (Must not be in mentorship (Indicated by a M on the HV Competent Person certificate)
