    Job description

    Administrator – Horsham

    A detailed‑oriented and proactive Logistics Administrator is required to support daily logistics operations, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain smooth and efficient workflow within a busy environment.

    Pay: £15.68 base rate and £17.45 with shift allowance

    Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate daily logistics activities, including stock movements, deliveries, and collections.

    Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipment details, and order processing.

    Prepare and update shipping documents, purchase orders, and internal reports.

    Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.

    Monitor delivery schedules, resolve delays, and manage booking slots.

    Assist with planning transport routes and optimising load allocation.

    Ensure compliance with internal procedures and relevant logistics regulations.

    Support warehouse operations with documentation, system updates, and stock checks.

    Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock, orders, or transport information.

    Required Skills & Experience

    Strong administrative skills with experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain support.

    Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.

    High accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and data entry.

    Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, or MS Office (particularly Excel).

    Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

    Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

    Preferred Skills

    Experience with transport planning or warehouse coordination.

    Knowledge of inventory control practices or stock‑management processes.

    Familiarity with carrier booking portals or logistics tracking tools.
