We have an exclusive requirement for a Network Security specialist with one of our long-standing clients in Dublin Ireland offering a very flexible hybrid schedule.
The Network Security Engineer will be joining the Core Networking team. You will be the 5th member of a highly skilled group of engineers, working across complex environments designing, implementing and supporting the Check Point infrastructure.
This is a hands-on technical role that will require you to have expertise in Check Point firewalls focusing on project delivery, advanced troubleshooting and collaboration with peers.
What You’ll Do
Implement, configure, and manage Check Point firewalls and security solutions.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex issues.
Support solution design when required.
Collaborate with peers, knowledge share, and contribute to a strong team culture.
What You will Have:
Conceptual knowledge in Networks and Network Security
Checkpoint Firewalls – experience working with on-prem & cloud deployments
IPSEC/SSL VPN
TCP/IP, Routing, L2/L3 Switching
Cisco CCNA Security – Cisco Certified Network Associate – Security
Checkpoint Certifications
Worked in large business critical networks and security projects
