    Support Worker - Criminal Justice (Part-Time)

    Location: Weston-super-Mare / Highbridge
    Salary: £13,698.66 per year (FTE: £25,685)
    Hours: 20 per week
    Contract: Permanent

    About the Role

    Our client is seeking a compassionate and proactive Support Worker to join their Criminal Justice services. In this rewarding role, you'll work with individuals who are at risk, vulnerable, or have complex needs, helping them achieve safety, stability, and independence.

    You'll collaborate closely with criminal justice partners and a range of external agencies to ensure each person receives high‑quality, personalised support.

    What We're Looking For

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    * A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance required)
    * Experience supporting vulnerable adults or individuals with complex needs or challenging behaviours
    * The ability to work as part of an on‑call rota (out‑of‑hours support)

    Key Responsibilities

    As Support Worker, you will:

    Build strong, positive working relationships with external agencies, particularly within the criminal justice sector
    Carry out comprehensive needs and risk assessments, enabling the creation and delivery of tailored support plans
    Provide clear advice, guidance, and signposting to help clients access appropriate services, including accommodation
    Support new clients moving into the service, ensuring they receive a warm, safe, and structured introduction
    Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote client wellbeing, independence, and long-term positive outcomes
