How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

    Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
    Location: Redgrave (covering sites within a 30-mile radius – company van provided)
    Salary: £42,000 – £45,000
    Shift: Monday to Friday – Days

    Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    A brand-new opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading FMCG manufacturing business in the Redgrave area. With multiple UK sites and ongoing investment in machinery and technology, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing company.

    This is a field-based role covering sites within a 30-mile radius, offering a strong work-life balance with a Monday to Friday days shift and clear progression opportunities.

    You will be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault-finding on production equipment, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently with minimal downtime.

    Sector – Factory Maintenance

    Non-Negotiable Requirements

    Electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment

    Full UK driving licence

    17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

    Requirements

    Strong electrical fault-finding skills

    Experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance

    Recognised electrical engineering qualification

    Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment

    Desirable

    2391 Test & Inspection qualification

    Experience in a field-based or multi-site role
