How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

⦁ Understanding of machining principles, CNC machining techniques, and tool selection
⦁ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve machining issues
⦁ Keen attention to detail and accuracy to produce high-quality components meeting tight tolerances
⦁ Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
⦁ Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, including raw materials and machined components
⦁ Enthusiasm and willingness to learn, take initiative and grow
⦁ Open to new challenges and willing to take on additional responsibilities

    What We Offer
⦁ Competitive rate of pay, depending on experience
⦁ Opportunities for overtime; standard work week is 39 hours, overtime rate at 1.5x
    ⦁ Flexible start times: 08:00-17:00 Mon-Thu & 08:00-13:00 Fri, or 07:30-16:30 Mon-Thu & 07:30-12:30 Fri
⦁ Starting 22 days holiday, with an additional day each year up to a maximum of 25 days, plus Bank Holidays
    ⦁ Company Sick Pay Scheme
⦁ Attendance bonus: 10 hours at basic rate for no unauthorised absence in every 3-month period
⦁ Strong growth potential within a fast-growing company
⦁ Collaborative and supportive work environment
⦁ In-house and external training opportunities to support career development
