Job Summary
Staff Partners are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established, supportive and close-knit GP Practice in the Rochester area, a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Phlebotomist/HCA.
Responsibilities (not limited to )
* Use of Systmone or Emis - logging accurate patient records
* Samples - ensuring correct labelling, packaging and storing
* Performing venepuncture
* working alongside the nursing team
* The main duties of the role would be to assist the nursing team. You would be expected to carry out the following duties along with additional duties as required by the team:
* NHS Health checks
* ECG
* FLU Vaccinations
* BP/weight
* Diabetes foot checks
* obtaining consent from patients for blood samples
* Full or part-time hours available dependent on requirements
Hours: full or part-time available
Qualifications
* Must have UK Phlebotomy experience
* Hold the Phlebotomy certification
* Have GP / NHS experience carrying out Phlebotomy
