We are recruiting Grinding Operatives to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Billingham. Roles are available on rotating day/evening shifts or permanent night shifts, offering excellent opportunities for candidates with experience in metal finishing or grinding.
💷 Pay Rate
£15.71 - £27.08 per hour
Shift Patterns Available
🔹 Rotating Day / Evening Shifts (Monday to Friday):
06:00 - 14:00
13:45 - 20:45🔹 Permanent Night Shift (Monday to Thursday):
20:45 - 06:00
Duties Include
Grinding and finishing metal components
Deburring and polishing products
Using hand and power tools safely
Working to quality standards and production targets
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a Grinding Operative, fettler, or metal finisher preferred
Manufacturing or engineering experience
Attention to detail and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
