How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SCADA / Ignition Engineer

    Location: Germany (Remote-based with European travel)
    Salary: Up to €100,000 + 10% Bonus
    Benefits: Private Accommodation + Travel Covered

    Overview

    We are seeking a skilled SCADA / Ignition Engineer to join a growing team delivering cutting-edge solutions within the data centre sector across Europe.

    This is a remote-based position with extensive travel to project sites across Europe, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile, mission-critical infrastructure projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems using Ignition (Inductive Automation)
    Configure and commission SCADA solutions for data centre environments
    Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, BMS, and other control systems
    Support system testing, FAT/SAT, and on-site commissioning
    Troubleshoot and optimise system performance
    Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across Europe
    Provide technical support and documentation throughout project lifecycles

    Requirements

    Proven experience with Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation)
    Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems
    Experience working within data centres or critical environments (highly desirable)
    Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar)
    Familiarity with communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, BACnet, etc.)
    Ability and willingness to travel extensively across Europe
    Strong problem-solving and communication skills
    Fluent in English (additional European languages beneficial)
