The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) to join our team, working on a key contract with a major UK supermarket chain.
This is a field-based role covering multiple retail sites, where you’ll carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across commercial heating and HVAC systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Delivering PPM and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
*
Servicing and repairing equipment including boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs & FCUs
*
Carrying out minor installations and system upgrades
*
Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement
*
Ordering parts and completing work in line with company procedures
*
Attending scheduled and emergency call-outs
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*
NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Heating, Ventilation, Mechanical or HVAC (or equivalent)
*
ACS Commercial Gas: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A
*
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
*
ACS Domestic Gas (CCN, CENWAT, CPA)
*
F-Gas (C&G 2079-1, Category 1)
*
18th Edition (C&G 7671)

Experience in a retail or multi-site environment
*
Comfortable working independently in the field
*
Flexible to join a 1-in-4 on-call rota
*
Able to work at heights and in confined spaces
*
Familiar with PDA/job management systems
