    Job description

    About The Company
We require a Driver, with a full, clean UK drivers license to join our team.
    About Aston House:
Aston House has flourished into a truly forward-thinking and exceptional service, built around a deep commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for the young people in our care. At the heart of everything we do is a dedicated team of passionate, skilled, and compassionate staff who have not only embraced new and innovative approaches, but who have taken personal responsibility for driving continuous progress and positive change. What truly sets Aston House apart is the atmosphere of openness, honesty, and mutual respect that exists between management, staff, and the young people themselves. Communication is transparent and heartfelt, and every voice is heard and valued. This creates a culture where everyone feels empowered and supported, and where trust forms the foundation of all our relationships.
Here at Aston House we believe that all behaviours is communication, and it is us as the adults that need to understand what that means for the young people to support them to understand. We are driving change of behaviours through relationships, conversations and education to have a better understanding of why behaviours are shown and how to communicate differently going forward.

    About The Role
At Aston House we want it to feel like a home, that is filled with nurture, support, love and laughter, where young people can feel safe, understood, and truly cared for. Every member of our team brings their heart and their expertise to the role each day, and it’s that collective commitment that allows Aston House to continue being a place where young people not only live, but thrive.
We promote diversity through many different ways and understand that everyone is different and have their own strengths, but its how we collaborate these as a team that make it work. We are only as good as our team, and we want to ensure we are the best team to ensure our young people get the best care and support in their home.
    About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a passionate and supportive team, providing consistent, nurturing care to young people with a range of emotional, social, and developmental needs. No two days are the same — from supporting daily routines and education, to outdoor activities and personal growth, your role will have a direct, positive impact on the lives of the young people in your care.
You’ll help create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment, building trust and strong relationships while supporting young people to develop resilience, independence, and confidence.

    What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver personalised, trauma-informed care that meets the individual needs of each young person

Support daily routines, education, activities, and family contact

Build meaningful relationships through empathy, consistency, and effective communication

Contribute to key working sessions, handovers, and accurate record-keeping

Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals

Undertake sleep-in shifts and flexible working hours to meet the needs of the home

Identify and report risks, safeguarding concerns, and opportunities for improvement

    About You
We’re looking for people who bring heart, dedication, and curiosity to their work. You’ll be:

    Caring, empathetic, and emotionally resilient

A calm, thoughtful communicator who can build trust quickly

    Organised, reliable, and flexible

Passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their potential

Committed to working towards (or already holding) Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England)
     Why choose us:
