About the Role
We are currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to join a busy team in Tavistock. This is a physically demanding role involving the collection of household waste and recycling in all weather conditions. You’ll be working as part of a friendly, hard‑working crew to ensure the smooth running of daily collection routes.
Key Responsibilities
Loading waste and recycling bins onto collection vehicles
Working efficiently as part of a team
Walking long distances and handling repetitive lifting
Ensuring safe working practices at all times
Supporting drivers with route completion
Requirements
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Reliable with excellent timekeeping
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Safety‑conscious and able to follow instructions
