A welcoming secondary school in Nottingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide classroom-based support on a full-time, long-term basis.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants consistent, school-based experience rather than short-term or day-to-day work.
The school offers clear routines, supportive staff, and a structured learning environment where Teaching Assistants play a key role in student progress and engagement.
The Role
Support pupils during lessons across a range of subjects
Work 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning
Assist teachers with classroom activities and behaviour routines
Encourage focus, confidence, and positive behaviour
Help create a calm and inclusive learning environment
Who This Role Suits
Experience working with young people (school, youth work, mentoring, coaching, care, etc.)
A patient, reliable, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Interest in working in education on a long-term basis
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
