How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Aspiring Clinical Psychologist – Specialist Speech & Language School
    Location: Kingston upon Thames, South West London
    Contract: Full-time | Long-term | Term-time

    About the Role:

    A highly regarded specialist school in Kingston upon Thames, supporting children with speech, language, and communication needs, is seeking an Aspiring Clinical Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate, trainee, or experienced support professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialist education setting.

    You will support the school in understanding the emotional, social, and developmental needs of children, contributing to personalised strategies to enhance communication, confidence, and learning outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities
    Collaborate with the SENCO, speech and language therapists, and teaching staff to support children’s development.
    Observe, assess, and provide insights on children’s emotional, social, and behavioural needs.
    Assist in designing and delivering personalised intervention strategies.
    Maintain detailed records of observations, interventions, and outcomes.
    Support staff and parents with guidance on child development and wellbeing.
    Attend team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to SEN provisionWho should apply:

    Degree in Psychology or related field; postgraduate or trainee experience preferred.
    Interest in speech, language, and communication development in children.
    Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings is highly desirable.
    Excellent communication and observational skills.
