Security Installation Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and fault‑finding across a variety of door entry and access control systems within both commercial and residential settings. The Security Installation Engineer will:
* Install, service, maintain, and diagnose faults on door entry and access control systems.
* Work on a mix of planned installation projects and reactive maintenance tasks.
* Upgrade and commission systems to meet current industry standards.
* Deliver high‑quality customer service to clients, property managers, and residents.
* Accurately complete job sheets, service reports, and system documentation.
* Follow all health and safety regulations and adhere to company procedures.
The Security Installation Engineer will have:
* At least 5+ years’ experience working with intercom and door entry systems (ENTROTEC experience is a strong advantage).
* A minimum of 5+ years’ experience with access control systems such as INTRATONE, PAC, or ENSIGN.
* Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills, particularly in live environments.
* A full UK driving licence with good route‑planning abilities.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Confident communication skills and a customer‑focused approach when dealing with residents and clients.
