Pre-Delivery Inspection Engineer

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established yet vastly expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Pre-delivery Inspection Engineer to work at their workshop in Northampton. Responsibilities
* Carrying out PDIs on the company’s fleet of Material Handling equipment
* Completing all necessary paperwork that comes along with the inspections
* Reporting to the Service Manager to ensure all equipment inspections are carried out efficiently
* Working alongside the rest of the engineering team to maintain a high level of customer service
* Ensuring that all health and safety standards are maintained in the workshop
* Assisting the workshop team with maintenance when needed
Requirements
The company are open to 2 types of individual with this position. You will either be and experienced forklift truck engineer or someone with experience of carrying out PDIs within a closely related industry such as commercial vehicles, plant hire, powered access, agriculture or automotive. In terms of location, you must be based in commutable distance of Northampton.
Benefits
* Up to £34,500 – dependent on years’ experience as an engineer
* Overtime paid at time ½ and double on Sundays and bank holidays
* Yearly bonus
* 23 days holiday, rising to a maximum of 30
