Hours as a Level 3 Mechanic: Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm + every other Saturday

Job Overview for a Level 3 Mechanic

We are a friendly family-run garage looking for a skilled Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles to a high standard while providing great service to our customers.

An MOT Tester qualification would be an advantage, but it is not essential, as training may be available for the right candidate.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a busy but welcoming workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities for a Level 3 Mechanic

* Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturer standards

* Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and technical information

* Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and engine work

* Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks

* Carry out MOT tests if qualified (preferred but not essential)

* Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

* Maintain a clean and organised workspace

* Communicate clearly with colleagues and management regarding vehicle repairs and required parts

Requirements for a Level 3 Mechanic

* Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

* Previous experience working as a vehicle technician/mechanic

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Full UK driving licence preferred

* MOT Tester licence (desirable but not essential)
