About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Bury. This is a hands‑on, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is essential. Experience working with chemicals would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate a Counterbalance FLT
Handle chemicals in line with site safety standards
Load and unload vehicles and shipping containers
Organise, store, and maintain yard stock and materials
Keep the yard clean, safe, and well‑organised at all times
Carry out general yard duties including manual handling
Assist with incoming and outgoing deliveries
Perform basic daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
Follow all health & safety procedures and site protocols
Communicate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure smooth workflow
Report hazards, faults, or issues promptly
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential)
Experience in a yard or warehouse environment (preferred)
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours
Strong health & safety awareness
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
