How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SITE ELECTRICAL LEAD

    Job Title:     Electrical Maintenance Engineer

    Location:     Kendal

    Salary:        Up to £55,000

    Shift:           Days (Mon-Fri)

    Job Role of the Site Electrical Lead.

    We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Electrical Lead to join a modern, high-tech manufacturing site. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation and equipment, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and future leadership opportunities.

    You will be responsible for overlooking the electrical team carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The role is mostly desk based with the requirements to be hands on around 30%.

    Sector - Factory Maintenance

    Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Site Electrical Lead

    Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
    Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
    Previous experience managing/leading a maintenance team
    Recognised electrical engineering qualification.
    Desirable Requirements for the Site Electrical Lead .

    Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
    Previous experience working in a food or FMCG environment
