About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team at a well-established care home in Taunton. This role is ideal for a nurse who has experience working in a residential or nursing home environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines

Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
*
Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, identifying any changes and responding appropriately
*
Work collaboratively with care assistants, healthcare professionals, and management
*
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
*
Support residents and their families with compassion and professionalism
*
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and care home policies
Requirements
*
Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
*
Previous care home or elderly care experience preferred
*
Strong clinical and assessment skills
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
*
