How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate/Entry-Level Customer Advisor

    Are you a bright, enthusiastic graduate (or entry‑level candidate) looking to kick‑start your career in a fast‑paced role where every day is different? Do you love helping people, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly?
    If so, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a friendly, close‑knit Utilities team where excellent customer service is at the heart of everything we do.

    We’re looking for someone switched‑on, proactive, and eager to learn, someone who enjoys juggling multiple tasks and building genuine rapport with customers and suppliers. If you’re naturally curious, confident, organised, and thrive in busy environments, we’d love to meet you.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    * Managing and resolving a wide range of utility‑related customer queries within agreed timeframes

    * Handling varied enquiries (including more complex issues) with professionalism and a strong customer‑first mindset

    * Coordinating tenancy changes and ensuring supplier records are updated accurately

    * Building great working relationships with utility suppliers and internal teams

    * Checking contract details, reviewing invoices, and ensuring all information is accurate

    * Processing contract terminations and following up on supplier objections

    * Keeping up‑to‑date with industry changes and sharing relevant updates with the team

    * Maintaining clear, accurate records across internal systems

    * Supporting the Utilities Team Manager with admin tasks, ad‑hoc work, and small projects
