The Role:
This is a fast-paced commercial environment where you will be responsible for:
Temporary Works: Constructing sturdy, compliant temporary timber steps and ramps.
1st Fix Installation: Assisting with initial site hoarding and structural timber framing where required.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all ramps meet required gradients and safety standards for site-wide use.
Efficiency: Working from drawings to ensure all temporary structures are fit for purpose and built to last the duration of the project.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Valid CSCS Card: (Blue Skilled Worker or Gold Supervisor preferred).
Tools: Full 1st fix kit, including cordless drills, circular saws, and levels.
Experience: Proven experience in commercial 1st fix joinery and temporary works.
Reliability: A consistent track record of punctuality and a "get-it-right-first-time" attitude.
PPE: Full site PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, steel-toed boots).
