Freelance Senior Technical Manager – East London (Major RC Frame Development)

Outside IR35

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Technical Manager to join a leading residential developer on a major multi-block scheme in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a complex RC frame development comprising over 400 residential units.

Working as part of an established project team, you will take ownership of the technical process from design coordination through to delivery on site across a large multi-block residential scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the technical design process across a multi-block residential development (400+ units).

*

Coordinate architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance and buildability.

*

Oversee design reviews, technical approvals, and value engineering exercises.

*

Manage the flow of information between design teams and construction teams.

*

Ensure all technical documentation aligns with programme and construction requirements.

*

Support site teams with technical queries throughout the build phase.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience working as a Senior Technical Manager / Technical Manager for a developer or main contractor.

*

Strong background delivering large RC frame residential schemes, ideally multi-block developments.

*

Experience managing complex design coordination on large-scale projects (400+ units preferred).

*

Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and technical standards.

*

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
