Cnc Miller Programmer - Part time

Questech are working exclusively with a large subcontract machining company that has heavily invested in modern, high-spec machinery. We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join our client, based on the outskirts of Huddersfield in the Clayton West area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering business offering flexible working hours and competitive pay.

The Role – CNC Miller Programmer

Key duties will include:

Milling large, technical components to high precision standards

*

Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines

*

Producing one-off components and small batch work (typically 1–5 units)

*

Working with Fanuc, Siemens and XYZ control systems

Essential Experience & Skills

*

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment

*

Ability to program, set and operate CNC milling machines independently

*

Experience working with Fanuc, Siemens or XYZ controls

*

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Working Hours
Flexible full-time or part-time hours available to suit:

Option 1:
3–5 days per week
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 5:00pm

Option 2:
5 days per week
Monday – Thursday: 7:15am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:15am – 11:30am

Pay
£16 – £19 per hour, depending on experience.
