We are working with a leading Tier One contractor delivering a £50 million new build commercial development in West London. The scheme will provide high-specification office space incorporating advanced building services, sustainable systems and technically complex MEP installations.

With construction now underway, they are seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to take ownership of the electrical package and support the successful delivery of the project’s building services strategy.

This role will suit an experienced electrical construction professional with a strong background in managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring safe delivery of electrical installations on large-scale commercial schemes.

    The Role

As Electrical Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination, management and delivery of all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with programme.

You will work closely with the project team, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure the electrical installation is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

The position will also involve taking responsibility for electrical safety procedures and energisation processes, ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with safe systems of work and project safety plans.

    Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all electrical construction activities on site

Ensure safe energisation procedures are followed for all electrical systems

Work collaboratively with the project team and subcontractors to deliver project objectives

Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site operations

Oversee day-to-day site planning and sequencing of electrical installations

Review and manage Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and associated permits

Monitor progress against programme and support recovery planning where required

Ensure full compliance with site health & safety procedures and electrical safety plans

Support testing, commissioning and final handover of electrical systems

    Candidate Profile

Proven experience working as an Electrical Construction Manager or Senior Electrical Supervisor on major construction projects

Strong background delivering commercial or mixed-use developments

Solid understanding of electrical installation, testing and commissioning processes

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities

    18th Edition Wiring Regulations

SMSTS or equivalent Health & Safety qualification

Minimum 5+ years’ experience delivering electrical packages on major projects

    Why This Role?

Opportunity to join a major £50m commercial development at a key stage of delivery

Work on a technically complex scheme with significant MEP scope

Join a project team delivering a high-profile development in West London

Strong potential for future project opportunities and progression within the business
