Our client is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to join their Bristol-based structures team and they are considering candidates up to senior level.
The role offers a strong mix of hands-on engineering, combining the inspection, assessment and retrofit of existing buildings with the design of new structures across a range of sectors.
This is a practical, technically focused position with regular site involvement and early responsibility. The successful candidate will be trusted to take ownership of projects from the outset, managing work through inspection, design and delivery with minimal supervision.
Our client is well regarded locally for both new-build and refurbishment work, with a portfolio that includes major commercial developments, complex retrofit schemes, university estates and a wide range of structural inspections and assessments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design within a consultancy environment, be comfortable leading small to medium-sized projects, and be actively progressing towards chartership with ICE, IStructE or an equivalent institution.
